MRI & CT Service Customer Recommends Block Imaging

"Earlier this year our center was confronted with the stark reality that we could no longer afford the cost of our OEM service contracts. We have a 1.5T MRI and a 16 Slice CT.

Our financial situation forced our facility to look outside of manufacturers support for service. I looked at several entities before settling on Block Imaging.

You should know that I've had positive experiences with our Block Imaging Flex Service Agreement.

I believe strongly enough about this company that I'm willing to share my experiences with others who are interested."

In addition, please consider the following:

  • Saving money: First and foremost, Block Imaging has saved our facility money. No question about that.
  • Glassware coverage: My CT tube is nearing end of life. My OEM contract did not include Glassware coverage. With Block Imaging, I now have glassware coverage for almost the same monthly payment I was paying to the OEM for my non-glassware contract. Good news for our partners who don't want to come up with $100K when the CT tube dies.
  • Contracts:Take a careful look at your own CT renewal agreement, with specific attention to the termination section. The last contracts I reviewed included these facts:
    • Non-cancelable
    • If you default, for any reason, your company is obligated to pay 100% of the remaining amount due. Example: If your company runs into financial trouble and you still have two years of payments remaining, your company is obligated to pay 100% of the remaining time you have on your agreement.

I found the above to be totally unacceptable but non-negotiable with other vendors. They would not bend. Compare the termination statement with Block Imaging. I think you'll find Block's Flex Service much more user friendly for your company.

When asked if I'd be willing to write a letter concerning my experiences with Block Imaging. Without hesitation I said yes."
