Block Imaging is excited to announce the launch of their new online training website for biomeds, radiology technologists, and service engineers. The site is designed to be a growing library of courses that help medical personnel expand their skills and help employers meet OSHA compliance standards. Courses are/will be accessible online and delivered in concise video segments followed by online testing and certification.

The first course, already available for purchase, is Radiation Safety Training 101, a tutorial in best practices to protect personnel from exposure to harmful radiation levels. Additional courses are under development and will become available periodically. Some upcoming examples include:

GE Healthcare Business Leader Joins Block Imaging Quality Assurance Team

Bob_Seidel_BGBlock Imaging announced today that Robert Seidel, formerly of GE Healthcare, has joined their leadership team in the role of Quality Assurance Manager.

As a former Business Team Leader for GE X-ray tube assembly and testing, and from prior roles with GE production and material logistics, Mr. Seidel will bring significant experience with quality management systems and lean manufacturing to his role at Block Imaging.
