Parts Repair Leader Joins Block Imaging Team

Block Imaging is proud to celebrate the newest addition to our team, Sheldon Schehr as he steps into the role of Repair and Parts Quality Manager. Sheldon joins us from a previous position at GE Healthcare to bring operational leadership and Lean Six Sigma expertise to Block's growing parts repair and quality assurance operations.

New Vision for Parts Processes

Sheldon will focus on maintaining stringent parts testing across our 32 staging bays and high-precision repairs and calibration for components returned from the field. The goal: That Block Imaging's Technical Team, both at HQ in Holt, MI and our team of field service engineers around the country, would bring unparalleled reliability to those we serve.

We asked Sheldon about his approach to quality processes. He said,

I consider it my specialty to connect and blend data from diverse sources to provide clarity to the everyday. With data-driven clarity, the processes we use day-in and day-out to test and repair parts will become more effective and deliver better outcomes for the healthcare professionals we serve and the patients they serve.

Block Imaging's President of Parts and Service, Jason Crawford told us what he anticipates most as Sheldon comes aboard, and what he's excited about achieving as they work together:

Sheldon brings a depth of understanding about imaging technology, and the healthcare industry in general, that can only come from years of experience. His time at organizations like GE, North American Imaging, and Remedpar has built in him a knowledge base that we're excited to tap into. Our parts customers will find quality that rivals any provider in our industry. And, they'll find their experience will keep getting even better.

With new vision and leadership for parts repair and quality assurance, the entire Block Imaging team looks forward to growing and building upon the ways we serve the medical imaging community. Please join us in congratulating Sheldon on this new phase in his career!
