Very few things are "one-size-fits-all", and most things described as such don't fit particularly well. This is why we encourage imaging equipment buyers to explore their options when it comes to financing capital equipment. Beyond that, we also encourage buyers to look into all the other things their equipment provider includes in a financed purchase. You don't have to settle for boilerplate arrangements when you acquire your next imaging system.
We can't speak for other providers, but we can share our own scope of services (financial and otherwise) as one example of how the market can flex to customize your imaging equipment project needs.
Imaging Equipment Financing Options
No two medical practices are exactly alike. Some are more leveraged than others, while some have physicians at different stages in their career with different investment goals. So, why should every practice purchase under the same small handful of financing templates? They shouldn't! That's why some providers have broadened the scope of what they provide. Here are examples of options Block Imaging offers to help give you an idea of what's out there.
- Dollar Buyout
- EFA Contracts
- Operating Lease Structures
- Maintenance Financing
- Short and Long-Term Rental
- Municipal Leases
Flexible Pay Structuring
In our experience, timelines for equipment projects can vary as much as budgetary circumstances. Construction not beginning for awhile? Delayed opening date for a new facility? We can structure payments to coincide with the project timeline.
Credit Approval Process
On average, Block Imaging can process a credit approval in less than 24 hours. Transactions less than $100,000 only require a credit application and three months of business bank statements. Larger transactions will require additional information, but the turnaround remains the same
A note about Section 179 opportunities: IRS tax code allows businesses to deduct the full purchase price of qualifying equipment and/or software purchased or financed during the tax year. Consult your tax adviser to determine overall savings and implications for your business.
Block Imaging maintains a healthy inventory of all imaging modalities, but we can't own everything on the market. If you're looking for something specific that isn't on our shelves, we have an established network of partners from whom we can source the system you're after. With offices throughout the U.S and Japan, we generally see those hard-to-find items as soon as they become available to the open market.
When you purchase a system from Block Imaging, we take care of arrangements for shipping and delivery. This includes wrapping, crating (if necessary), and an air-ride truck.
Block Imaging's in-house team and partner network include engineers that can professionally install and calibrate systems from all modalities and manufacturers
After your system is up and running, we also have a service team that can maintain it over its life with preventative maintenance, replacement parts, and repairs.
With the number of options that have emerged on the market, there's a financial and logistical vehicle to accommodate any budget, any project timeline, and any service need. The key is to be pro-active: have the conversations, ask the questions, and vet your provider for their ability to execute a more holistic range of services.
If you have any questions about the Block Imaging options and services mentioned above, feel free to shoot us an email or give us a call!
