Selenia Detector Cost

When you contact a parts vendor to get a quote on your detector, be sure to give them the correct part number. There are two kinds of Selenia detectors: standard and fast cycle detectors, with multiple stickers on each displaying a variety of different numbers. The part numbers circled in the images below are the relevant ones.

Keep in mind also, that pricing will vary by the age of the detector as well as whether or not you can purchase it on exchange or must purchase outright.

OEM Price:

Standard Selenia detector, RM-ASY-00834: $95,000 - $110,000 (depending on exchange purchase vs. outright purchase)

Fast-cycle Selenia detector, RM-ASY-01389: $95,000 - $110,000 (depending on exchange purchase vs. outright purchase)

Used Price:

Standard Selenia detector, RM-ASY-00834: $25,000 - $40,000 (2009-2012) or $45,000 - $60,000* (2013 or newer)

Fast-cycle Selenia detector, RM-ASY-01389: $30,000 - $45,000 (2009-2012) or $50,000 - $65,000* (2013 or newer)

Selenia Detector Lifespan

Based on our purchasing experience with Hologic Selenias and feedback from our buyers, a Selenia digital detector (2009 or newer) generally lasts between 5-8 years, depending on the level of usage at your facility.

Buying Your Replacement

When you make the call for a replacement, on top of having your part number, it is always good to confirm with your provider that the replacement detector was recently tested and validated as functional. Most reputable parts providers will also provide a warranty with the sale of the detector, as well as be able to quote engineering support to have the detector installed on your Selenia.

Whether you need a Selenia detector today or are seeking a provider proactively for the future, our parts website is an easy way to browse and order from our inventory of Hologic parts. You can also use the button below to send your details directly to a representative and get a pricing quote.
