EXCITE HDxt Lease PriceOften referred to as a “15x” or “16x” system, the EXCITE HDxt is a widely popular platform within the family of GE MR systems available on the secondary market. This is due, in large part, to its near-current software and higher-end image capabilities.

The most significant cost drivers for the HDxt are the software level (15x or 16x) and the number of R/F channels (8 or 16). For the purposes of this article, we will consider a 15x, 16-channel system, which is the most popular configuration.

Want vs. Need

You need an MR capable of some advanced imaging features such as VIBRANT, COSMIC, CUBE, PROBE, etc, but you want to minimize your capital outlay.

The Best of Both Worlds

You can strike the balance between utility and cost with any of the leasing options available on the secondary equipment market. Typically, these systems are financed across 2-5 years. For even greater flexibility, there's the option of beginning your lease payments at $99 for the first three months of your term. This can give you the chance to get your system up and running and start netting some reimbursements before full payments kick in. In the table below you’ll find typical monthly payments for a GE 1.5T HDxt 15x, 16-ch system under all of the lease types we just mentioned. These estimates have been calculated from the middle of the current price range: $550.000.

Lease Payments for GE EXCITE HDxt 1.5T with 1-Year Full Service

  24 Months 36 Months 48 Months 60 Months

First 3 months at $99 $29,300 $19,200 $14,500 $11,800
