The last three weeks have been, to put it mildly, extremely trying for residents of the areas surrounding the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. The effects of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma have complicated, or even prevented, the meeting of essential human needs. Among these needs is the delivery of effective healthcare. With hospitals and clinics flooded or exposed to the elements by extreme winds, much of the equipment caregivers rely on to perform their services has been damaged or ruined.
If you are a medical caregiver and this scenario describes your current circumstances, you're probably looking for solutions that can restore the continuity of care as soon as possible. Block Imaging is ready to assist you with those solutions in a number of ways that can be enacted quickly and efficiently, empowering you to get back to serving your affected communities. The following equipment services are all in the Block Imaging wheelhouse.
Interim Rental Support
Do you need to get scanning while the usual equipment is down or inaccessable? Mobile MRI and CT systems are available for rapid deployment across the region. In Texas, Siemens Symphony and Espree mobile MRIs are available immediately. C-arm systems are also available with expedited shipping.
If the functional condition of your imaging equipment is currently unknown, our field service team is ready to come to your site and inspect/test it in person. This visit will reveal the extent of the damage, whether or not it can be repaired, and which parts it might need.
Time and Materials Service Support
Our engineers are also prepared to perform repairs on your equipment as necessary. No existing contracts, memberships, or agreements are required. We serve all modalities and manufacturers.
Damaged Equipment Liquidation
If your equipment is no longer viable for patient service, it may hold value in other areas. We can help recover a portion of your monetary loss and prepare the way for your next solution with the sale of your damaged system(s).
If any of your imaging systems are determined to be too severely damaged for patient use, we have an inventory of refurbished systems that can replace damaged ones more affordably.
If the extent of the damage to your equipment is isolated to certain components, we also have an inventory of 30,000+ parts from all manufacturers and modalities that can be shipped overnight to get the system back in working condition.
If you're a caregiver in the areas affected by Harvey and/or Irma, our team is ready to help mitigate the downtime you're currently facing and re-establish the care your patients need with both temporary and permanent recovery services. Use the button below to tell us how we can help. We look forward to seeing your facility, and your region, bouncing back strong in the coming months.
