My Influences ____________________
As I look back at my life, I have been extremely blessed to have a wonderful family, experienced some remarkable opportunities, received a great education, held some interesting jobs, been exposed to some incredible people, traveled to some amazing places, read some inspiring books and sat under some great teaching/preaching that have all helped to shape me into the person that I am today.
I'm a People Person ________________________________________________
Having spent 17 years working with thousands of people in the Sports Medicine and Personal Training fields, I love helping people reach their full potential. I have also been fortunate to have coached hundreds of athletes in baseball, basketball, and soccer over the last 10 years, which has been an absolute blast. Bottom Line: I get a thrill out of helping, challenging and empowering people!
In the field of radiology equipment sales, it is no different. I look forward to working with you in order to help you with your next project.
Joining the Family Business ___________________________________________
In 2007, I felt called join the family business—Block imaging. Certainly I was leaving a field that I was very familiar with for a field I knew very little about; but over time, I have grown in my knowledge and understanding of the medical imaging business—in large part because of the amazing collection of people that I work with on a daily basis. It has been remarkable to watch our organization grow to over 70 amazing people globally. Currently, I oversee global purchasing here at Block, helping physicians, imaging centers and hospitals by purchasing their used radiology equipment.
After having spent 4 years in our global purchasing department, my role in 2012 has changed a little. I'm now getting experience on the "other" side of the fence as I take over as the new product manager for bone, mammo, and ultrasound modalities. This has been an exciting challenge as I narrow my concentration to what is commonly described as "women's health".
