Excite_II_Lease_PriceLike its predecessor, the GE LX, the GE Excite II 1.5T MRI is extremely popular on the secondary market. This is partially due to its 8-channel R/F capacity, low upfront cost, and easy serviceability.

The Excite II also offers excellent image quality in an efficient magnet design which dramatically reduces helium consumption. And, as with all GE MRI systems, the Excite II is easily upgradeable to platforms such as the HD, HDX, and HDXT.

Akron_Tube_LifespanIf your facility is using or considering a Siemens or Philips water-cooled CT scanner, you should note that these systems are equipped with Akron X-ray tubes.

Scanners using the Akron B:

  • Siemens Volume Access
  • Siemens Volume Zoom
  • Siemens Sensation 4
  • Philips MX8000 Dual
  • Philips MX8000 4

Mini_C_Arm_Price_GuideThis one is for all the extremity specialists out there.

Why Upgrade Your R/F Room?

Posted by Tim Richard

Aug 15, 2014 3:36:45 PM

why-should-you-upgrade-your-rf-roomWe see it all the time- a facility puts off shopping for their next R/F room until the current system is on its very last leg, or worse, already failing. Reimbursement rates being what they are, coupled with the technological leaps in other imaging modalities over the last 15 years, this procrastination is somewhat understandable. For some facilities, it can seem like the only reason to replace their R/F room is to placate their accreditation organization.
